I am still content with myself and the choices I have made as of now. I still have no regrets. I still know that life will throw me a few curveballs and still think I can handle whatever comes my way. I still learn something new everyday. I still find out things about myself and I still yearn to know more. I still put all & everything i have into what I love and do it all to the best of my abilities. I still make lists though I rarely follow them. I still feel organized without following the lists because I have them. I still can't bring myself to workout on a regular basis, or at all. I still want to pick more than one career. I still have a lot of 'kid' left in me. I still need to write things down to get them off my chest. I still want more tattoos. I still find it hard to explain anything - I'm much better on paper. I am still horrible at returning phone calls. I still take on too much but love every minute of my tired-busyness. I still am thankful that I continually understand more about myself everyday. I still want to go to many different places and states. I still hate dishes and I'm sure I always will. I still love scrapping the most. I still have so many books and projects that I've started that need to be finished. I still hope for a happy and fortunate life, so far, so good. I still believe that everything happens for a reason. I still think some things are unfair but never make an act to change them. I still get jealous of things I shouldn't waste my time on.

Uncle Rob & Aunt Kara.
Meet Caden Christopher Norris. Almost 6 months old!
And big brother, Isaiah!
Kick your shoes off and stay a while!
Uncle Rob, Isaiah, and Caden, had all kinds of fun today.
First they read, barked, mooed, and clucked like a chicken.
Then they tried on Uncle Rob's sunglasses. Isaiah really wanted Caden to try them on, although he didn't enjoy it as much as him.
Uncle Rob found a way to transport Isaiah from one couch to another. Upside down!
Ever transport ended with Isaiah's pants falling off.
Later, puppy came to visit! Both Isaiah and Caden loved her.
After getting our shoes on and dancing around the kitchen,
We gave kisses and said good bye.

breakfast for dinner.
March 14, 2010
One of my favorites! Breakfast for dinner! Since I don't have the time to wake up and make biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and eggs, I love making it for dinner! Rob made most of the breakfast (or dinner?) adding BBQ sauce and mozzarella to the eggs and Worcestershire to the hash browns. (Better than it sounds, believe me, I was skeptical!) American Pickers
March 15, 2010
After watching a couple episodes of American Pickers, Rob and I couldn't help but see if the attic in our bedroom had "gems" in it.
So Rob played hero and climbed on the dresser.
While I stayed far away in case a bat came flying out. (I always have great ideas. Ask Rob. I'm just always too chicken act on them. Therefore Rob always gets put in charge.)
I was just waiting for him to scream "holy cow!" and tell me how much money we were going to make!
But instead we saw this.
And this.
Our hopes of becoming a millionaire over night, didn't happen.
But you have to admit, the chimney is quite beautiful!

bird, hot dog, art.
March 10, 2010
Rob & I made our first piece of "art" together today :) I'm happy with the way it turned out; and YES, that is a hot dog (Rob's idea of course.) It proudly hangs in our dining room now.
sock!
March 1, 2010
I hate buying socks. (scratch that) i hate PAYING for socks. [ask rob; he is constantly pushing me to buy new socks & i ALWAYS refuse!] today i got a little crazy/adventurous (if that's what you want to call it) and bought TWELVE new pairs of Betsey Johnson socks :) i'm proud of myself!
our first snow man!
February 23, 2010
"This is good packing snow." Last night Rob gave me the thumbs up to make the snowman I've been wanting to make since the first snow. The "good packing snow" was not the best "snowman" snow :( The snowballs we formed were NOT rolling very well; so the giant snowman i was hoping for is a mini one. Either way; I had a blast playing in the snow with Rob!
Beautiful Snow.
February 22, 2010:
We made it home!! The drive was not bad AT ALL (thanks to all who worked hard to clear the roads!) We took the "long way" home so we could go down our favorite street. The snow, water, & trees, looked absolutely beautiful. We got home to our sidewalks shoveled; my car cleared; and a path around my car (thank you landlord &/or neighbors??) Rob made us some sandwiches & sliced some banana bread; now i'm sitting in front of the heater watching the bachelor :) it's good to be home but our trip was lovely, i couldn't have had a better person to go with.

Peaceful.
February 21, 2010:
I was so excited for the day to start that I couldn't help but wake up at 7:30 & jump on Rob. After having "breakfast" (which was not much of a breakfast!!) we packed up & headed downtown. since today is Sunday nothing was open (until 11:00-12:00) allowing us to walk along the beach. This was pretty much the only life we saw until later in the afternoon; peaceful.

Marriott
Feb 21, 2010:
We checked into our second hotel (the marriott) at 3:00 after a long day of sight seeing, and shopping. We picked this hotel because Rob said it has "the most comfortable beds" and i guess he is living, breathing, snoring, proof because my boyfriend; who NEVER snores; is currently snoring while taking a nap.♥ Of course I got it on video :)

Valentine's Shirt
February 12-14, 2010
My Valentine's picture (for facebook):
Gave me a great idea for Rob's Valentine's gift.
That smile on his face isn't fake, he LOVED it, and even wore it to a beer tent!
winter.
February Unknown, 2010
With the day off I was in charge of tackling the snow that accumulated over night. A task not to simple.
I bundled up and put on my game face.
And my lion face.
Did I mention my boots are about four years old & not waterproof?
The snow removal took about two hours. I cleaned off my landlords car, shoveled her whole drive way, and got to chit chat with my neighbor across the street. A successful but very tiring day.

Baking Fool.
February 19, 2010
I'm a baking fool!! Just finished making Banana Bread, Banana Muffins, and Rice Krispies! In the oven now are Monster Cookies♥. Cleaning up the apartment & (PACKING!!) Rob will be home about 4:00 (ish) yayyyy! Work from 2:30-8:30(ish) then over to the Rents so Erin can cut Rob's hair :) [practice makes perfect] We leave tomorrow after I get out of work; and after Rob's text this morning (about how beautiful it is up north) i can't wait to hit the road!!
Things You'll Need:
Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbs. lt. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 6 Tbs. butter flavored vegetable shortening, like Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. peanut butter, I recommend smooth but you can use crunchy
- 1/2 Tbs. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 c. quick oats
- 1/2 cup m&m's
- Step 1Preheat oven to 350 F. If you have the convection feature, I highly recommend it.
- Step 2Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar and shortening in mixing bowl and beat at medium speed until well blended.
- Step 3Beat in eggs. Beat in peanut butter, corn syrup, baking soda and vanilla. Add oats, mixing on low speed. Stir in m&m's by hand.
- Step 4Drop by teaspoon full onto an ungreased baking sheet. (I line with parchment, easier cleanup.)
- Step 5Bake at 350 F for 11 to 13 minutes or until just beginning to brown. let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes and then move to wire racks or sheets of foil to cool completely before storing.
scones.
February 18, 2010
it is a given that i miss rob. i can't even be in the other room without having to "visit." (which usually ends in him getting hurt in some way or another; i just get too excited to see him; and lose control) It was surprising refreshing to receive a reminder text saying "i miss you baby" today. i can't wait to see him tomorrow :) on another note: i'm in a baking mood!! banana nut bread sounds yummy! but since my banana's aren't over ripe yet, i'm thinking scones?!?
